“It was a very difficult first half because Cremonese defended well and then countered, and we just had to unlock them to play then more easily. The goal was good, I was excited, at the beginning I was excited because I hadn’t scored in a long time, then I realized I scored at Cremonese and I stopped.”
“Did I go under the Cremonese fans’ stand to salute them? Yes, I went to greet them because at the first leg I forgot to go and it seemed right to do so because last year was a fantastic year. (Fagioli was on loan with Cremonese last season, ed.”
“Pogba? We were all delighted with his return from the first minute, for me he’s an idol because I’ve seen him play since I was a kid and I’m sorry he had a relapse. I hope it is nothing serious and I wish him a speedy recovery.”
“Sevilla? Now we have to go there, to play it openly, we have to go there to win and to go to Budapest. That is our biggest goal.”
