Como manager Cesc Fabregas has made it clear that the club’s prized asset, Nico Paz, is not for sale. The Argentine midfielder, who joined Como from Real Madrid last summer for €6 million, has been the subject of transfer speculation, particularly with strong interest from Inter Milan.

In a pre-match press conference ahead of Como’s clash with Udinese, Fabregas emphatically stated, “Nico is a Como player. Real Madrid can buy him at a certain price. If we don’t want to sell, he won’t leave. It’s impossible for him to go because we have an agreement with him.”

The Spanish coach highlighted the strong relationship between the club and Paz’s family, praising their humility and intelligence. He added, “Nico is our brand, and we want to keep him with us. If Real Madrid doesn’t buy him back, we won’t sell him even for 40/50 million because we want to create a future, an identity with this group of talented young players.”

Regarding player availability for the upcoming match, Fabregas revealed, “Nico Paz, Sergi Roberto, Maxi Perrone, and Alberto Moreno are not ready to start. Sergi Roberto should return against Atalanta. For Nico Paz, we have time until tomorrow, and then we’ll evaluate.”

When asked about rumors linking Ansu Fati to Como, Fabregas dismissed them as untrue, stating, “I had asked six months ago, not now. Belotti is not leaving.”

On the topic of Dele Alli, who recently joined Como, Fabregas said, “He’s been out for a long time and is now working with us. The club wanted him here. I see him fitting well in Nico Paz’s role. We’re trying to help him recover and return to a high level, then it will be up to the club.”
