Enzo Le Fee Arrives in Rome for Medical and Contract Signing

Start

French midfielder Enzo Le Fee has arrived in Rome to complete his transfer to AS Roma, fulfilling new coach Daniele De Rossi’s request for midfield reinforcement. The deal, which has been in the works for days, was finalized after Roma’s new sporting director Florent Ghisolfi successfully negotiated with Rennes.

Le Fee landed at Fiumicino airport around 15:00 local time and is set to undergo medical examinations at Roma’s training ground, Trigoria. The total transfer fee, including bonuses, is reported to reach €23 million, meeting Rennes’ valuation of the player.

Ghisolfi, who was present at the airport to welcome Le Fee, expressed his excitement about the signing: “Enzo is happy to come to Rome. I think you’re here to welcome him. You’ll see that his arrival will be very, very good for Roma.”

The 23-year-old midfielder has made a name for himself in France, playing for Lorient and Rennes despite facing personal challenges. Le Fee’s father was incarcerated twice during his childhood, and tragically took his own life in 2021 while Enzo was playing for Lorient.

Le Fee’s signing marks the first major acquisition under De Rossi’s tenure as Roma’s head coach. The Italian club is looking to strengthen its squad as it aims to improve its position in Serie A and compete in European competitions.
