Swedish defender Emil Holm is set to complete a transfer to Bologna, with medicals scheduled for later today. The 24-year-old spent the 2023-24 season on loan with Atalanta, but La Dea opted not to make his move permanent, despite having an option to sign him outright.
Sky Sport Italia report that Holm’s transfer to Bologna from Spezia is valued at approximately €7 million . The Swedish right-back is the first reinforcement for new Rossoblu manager Vincenzo Italiano, who is preparing for the upcoming season, which includes participation in the Champions League.
Holm initially made his debut in Serie A with Spezia before making the move to Bergamo, where he scored one goal in 32 appearances for La Dea.
