Roma forward Paulo Dybala believes he is a World Cup winner ‘also thanks to José Mourinho’ who is ‘very similar’ Max Allegri. La Joya scored the deciding goal in the Giallorossi’s 1-0 Coppa Italia win over Genoa and spoke to Sky Sport Italia (via fcinter1908) of the importance of having a coach like Mourinho guide him:
“You know what the coach means in football’s history. He has won everything, he strongly wanted me here and I am a World Cup champion also thanks to him.
I will always give my best for him and the team because of how they helped me.
Allegri and Mourinho? They are very similar in terms of personality, two nice people who help their players and take responsibility.
I’ve worked much more with Allegri. They have both won a lot. They love staying on the pitch, trying to make their players improve. When I joined Juventus, Allegri helped me develop, and Mourinho is doing the same here.”
