Done Deal: Kolo Muani to Join Juventus on Loan for Remainder of Season

Start

Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani, marking the French striker as their second acquisition of the January transfer window, following right-back Alberto Costa. The club’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, has made significant strides in the negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, successfully obtaining approval for a loan deal and securing Kolo Muani’s agreement to join.

The move comes after a challenging period for Juventus, who are looking to bolster their squad after a disappointing draw against Cagliari. With several key players sidelined due to injuries, including Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Samuel Chukwueze, the addition of Kolo Muani is seen as a crucial step in addressing the team’s needs.

Kolo Muani, who is currently under contract with PSG until 2028, will join Juventus on a dry loan without an option to buy. Initially, PSG had sought to include a purchase option set at €50 million, but Giuntoli has managed to negotiate terms that favour a straightforward loan arrangement.

The agreement between Juventus and PSG is complete, and Fabrizio Romano, Romeo Agresti  and others report that Kolo Muani has agreed to the move to Turin.

Juventus have successfully outmanoeuvred competition from Premier League clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, both of which have shown interest in the striker. As Kolo Muani prepares for his potential move to Turin, he aims to find regular playing time and regain form after limited opportunities at PSG this season.
