Juventus are expecting an answer from Argentine winger Angel Di Maria today over a summer transfer and are remaining optimistic. The 34-year-old left PSG this month and is able to sign as a free agent with both Juve and Barcelona as frontrunners for his signature.
Sky Sport Italia previously reported that the winger is currently on vacation and will provide an update on his future by today.
La Stampa report that Juve are confident Di Maria will accept their offer of a one-year deal with the option for a second.
The Bianconeri have reportedly offered the Argentine a €7m a year deal and believe it will be enough to convince him.
According to La Stampa, Barcelona did not go beyond the first round of talks with the player while Benfica, who emerged as a late option, have slipped away.
