Former Juventus and Fiorentina wing-back Angelo Di Livio weighed in on the Bianconeri’s recent form: “Juventus are a good team but not exceptionally strong.” Speaking in an interview with TVPlay (via FCInter1908), the former Italy international discussed a range of subjects, including his former team and the change of formation and tactics involving modern wing-backs:
“I hate wingers who play standing still; you can’t play that role if you don’t attack depth. Among the top players in the position is Dimarco, who also has a wonderful foot and can score goals.”
Regarding Juventus, Di Livio offered his analysis, saying, “Juventus is a good team but not exceptionally strong. Last year, in my opinion, was a positive season despite everything. In midfield, I would sign Koopmeiners and Ferguson instead of Locatelli, and I would keep Rabiot. Chiesa should play high on the left, and then I would like to bring in an winger like Felipe Anderson, with Vlahovic confirmed as the central striker. I would also bring Soulé back home.”
