The current FIGC president, Gabriele Gravina, has set the date for the elections on February 3, 2025, to be held at the Hotel Cavalieri A Waldorf Astoria in Rome. Gravina himself has yet to confirm whether he will seek re-election, stating recently, “I have the numbers to be re-elected, but I haven’t decided yet.”

The former Juventus star recently made an appearance at an international rugby friendly between Italy and the New Zealand All Blacks at Turin’s Allianz Stadium. There, he received the number 10 azzurri jersey from injured captain Michele Lamaro. During the event, Del Piero shared his philosophy on leadership, saying, “The first thing to do towards the fans is to earn respect and love, which you also do with the desire to dare.”
