In his emotional farewell, Huijsen expressed his gratitude to Juventus, saying, “I arrived at Vinovo at sixteen with a heart full of hope and excitement, dreaming of one day wearing the first team jersey. I got to know a great club and fantastic people who helped me on my journey, and I will always thank them for everything they have given me.”

The young defender also acknowledged the unwavering support of the Juventus faithful. “Thank you to all the fans who have always believed in me,” he wrote. “I would have liked to show even more of what I’m capable of by playing at the Allianz Stadium, but your passion and love for this shirt have always pushed me to give my best, always.”
