Just moments before Roma’s match against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium, manager Daniele De Rossi shared his thoughts with DAZN about the team’s preparations and his strategic decisions.
Facing a formidable opponent in a packed stadium, De Rossi acknowledged the challenge ahead: “All games are difficult, but perhaps this one has an emotional charge that helps us to be more focused.”
Reflecting on the recent transfer window, De Rossi admitted, “The last days of the market are devastating. It’s the first time I’ve experienced them from this side, and it’s complicated. But we’re all in the same situation, and we’ll have to see who performs best on the pitch.”
As a coach, De Rossi emphasized his approach to team selection and communication: “I always try to convey my thoughts clearly. It can change from game to game. My choices align with what I’ve always told the players or mentioned in press conferences. If they demonstrate growth and dedication in training, like Pisilli, it’s important to be courageous and give them a significant opportunity on Sunday.”
Regarding the atmosphere at the stadium, De Rossi remarked, “It’s not the first time I’ve been here. It’s a nice atmosphere, a Juve-Roma match. We must be prepared to handle a bit of antagonism from the opposing fans.”
