Sky Sport Italia claim Napoli are prepared to let sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli leave, in order to join Juventus. Giuntoli has been a long-standing target for the Bianconeri, with reports in the Italian press claiming he would be prepared to sacrifice certain bonuses in order to complete a move to Turin this summer.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is now softening to the idea of letting Giuntoli leave in the coming weeks, despite having another year left on his contract with the Partenopei.
According to Di Marzio, De Laurentiis is meeting with his sporting director in the coming days, and is moving towards giving the go-ahead for him to join Juventus.
It’s not yet known when or under what conditions, but today the Napoli president ‘appeared much softer on giving the sporting director the go-ahead.’
