Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is working on a live TV broadcast for the clubs Scudetto celebration and wants coverage on Italian channel RAI. IlNapolista report that yesterday at the Viminale, Napoli’s Scudetto celebration were discussed during a meeting with Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, as well as the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi,, Prefect Claudio Palomba, the Quaestor of Naples, Alessandro Giuliano and De Laurentiis.
What emerged from the summit above all was the need for a détente between the fans and the club, the search for a truce in order to ‘work with more serenity’ in view of the celebrations. Piantedosi pushed for the prefect to convene a roundtable discussion with De Laurentiis and the ultras, a meeting that should be staged tomorrow morning at 12.00pm, as reported by Corriere del Mezzogiorno.
The newspaper also writes that De Laurentiis is working for a live TV broadcast of the Scudetto celebration. The Napoli president is trying to close a deal with Rai, but he is also working simultaneously on other TV platforms.
“In short, something is moving to avoid other critical issues and tensions that have punctuated the last few weeks. The film producer is also trying to work for the live television broadcast of the June 4 holiday: contacts are tight with Rai and also some television platforms.”
As for the party, the Viminale confirmed the reinforcement of the deployment of agents and the implementation of a security plan both for the spontaneous party that there will be in the city when the mathematical certainty of the Scudetto arrives and for the one that will instead be organized at the end of the Serie A season.
Yesterday’s summit established that the celebrations will take place on June 4, inside the Maradona stadium and will then move to several city squares: piazza Plebiscito, piazza Mercato, piazza Ciro Esposito in Scampia and the former Nato base in Bagnoli. The historic center will be protected to prevent people from flooding into it by car: work is being done to strengthen public transportation for this. While there will also be an ad hoc plan from the health point of view, with Asl Napoli 1 already working on this front.
Celebrations will also take place in other provinces, such as Caserta and Benevento, and in municipalities in the metropolitan area such as Nola, Giugliano, Castellammare di Stabia and Pozzuoli to prevent fans from pouring into the city from all over Campania.
