Atalanta’s pursuit of Milan midfielder Charles De Ketelaere has reportedly stalled over his personal demands and those of his agents. La Dea have been closing in on a deal for the young Belgian in recent weeks, and have already reached an agreement with Milan on a transfer deal, but the move is yet to be finalised.
Sky Sport Italia report that Atalanta are prepared to pay €3m to loan De Ketelaere , plus a further €22m plus €4m in bonuses as an option to buy the promising talent.
Despite the agreement, the 22-year-old is yet to agree terms with La Dea, ‘irritating’ Atalanta and Milan management in the process.
The report outlines how the main problems surrounding the deal are the commission that his agents are demanding, while the players salary is also yet to be finalised.
De Ketelaere joined the Rossoneri in a €35m transfer from Club Brugge last summer, but failed to score a single goal in 40 appearances across all competitions.
