Juventus are being linked with a move for Girona winger Savinho, who would fit into Thiago Motta’s game plan. Il Corriere dello Sport report that the Bianconeri are actively working in the transfer market to find the perfect players to fit Motta’s playing style.
The new Juventus coach, who will be officially announced shortly, has reportedly requested Cristiano Giuntoli to focus on acquiring two wingers suitable for a 4-3-3 formation that can also adapt to a 4-2-3-1 setup. According to Corriere dello Sport, the two players Motta has in mind are Mason Greenwood and Savinho.
Savinho has just completed a loan spell from Troyes to Girona, where he made a significant impact by scoring nine goals and providing ten assists, helping the team qualify for the Champions League. His performances earned him a call-up to the Brazilian national team for the Copa America.
Both Troyes and Girona are part of the City Football Group, so Savinho is expected to return to his parent club, Manchester City, and is valued at €30 million, while City might consider loaning him out again to further his development.
Savinho himself has expressed a desire to play in the Champions League, which aligns with Juventus’ upcoming participation in the competition.
