Como are making waves in the transfer market with a series of high-profile signings aimed at bolstering their squad after a challenging start to their Serie A campaign. Following earlier acquisitions of stars like Pepe Reina, Alberto Moreno, Andrea Belotti, and Raphael Varane, the Lombardy-based club has now secured three more impressive deals.
Calciomercato report that the newly promoted side has reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Nico Paz. The talented 19-year-old attacking midfielder will join Como for a fee of €6 million, with Real Madrid retaining a 50% sell-on clause and a buyback option. Paz is expected to arrive in Italy today for his medical examination and to finalize the contract.
In addition to Paz, Como has also struck a deal with Manchester City for Máximo Perrone. The 20-year-old Argentine midfielder will join on loan with an option to buy, with no buyback clause included in the agreement. Perrone is set to arrive in Italy within the next 24 hours to complete his medical and sign his contract.
Completing their trio of signings is former Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto. The 31-year-old Spanish veteran has been convinced by Cesc Fabregas to join Como on a free transfer, agreeing to a two-year contract with an option for a third year. This marks Roberto’s first move away from Barcelona after spending his entire career with the Catalan club.
