As Como prepare for their crucial match against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico, head coach Cesc Fabregas is optimistic about the team’s chances, especially with the recent additions of Assane Diao and Jean Butez. Fabregas expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Both players will be available for selection, and we are very happy to have them on board.”
Reflecting on the challenge of playing at the Olimpico, Fabregas acknowledged the extra pressure it brings. “Going to the Olimpico always adds extra pressure. We want to approach this match with courage, playing as we did against Napoli, Torino, and Inter Milan. This must always be our identity: to try to win every game,” he emphasized.
The manager spoke highly of Lazio, describing them as “a team of great quality.” He noted that both Lazio and Fiorentina are teams he identifies with due to their style of play. “The boys are feeling good; our training camp in Marbella provided excellent work on many aspects to continue growing,” he added.
