CM: Juventus considering bold swap bid involving Vlahovic and Kolo Muani

Start

Juventus are undergoing a significant transformation as the club reassesses its priorities in the transfer market. Initially focused on bolstering their defence due to injuries to Gleison Bremer and Cabal, the Bianconeri are now considering a strategic shift towards strengthening their attacking options. This change in direction comes amid financial constraints, prompting the club to explore creative solutions.

Calciomercato report how one of the key names surfacing in Juventus’ transfer discussions is Randal Kolo Muani, the French forward currently at Paris Saint-Germain. Kolo Muani has found himself sidelined under coach Luis Enrique, with limited playing time since returning from international duty. His dissatisfaction at PSG has made him an attractive target for several clubs, including Tottenham, Galatasaray, and AC Milan. However, PSG is reluctant to part with a player they invested nearly €90 million in when they signed him from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Interestingly, Dusan Vlahovic’s situation has also come into play. The Serbian striker has garnered interest from PSG’s sporting director, Luis Campos, who is keen on revamping the club’s attacking lineup. Campos views Vlahovic as a potential solution to enhance PSG’s offensive capabilities, particularly as Gonçalo Ramos has struggled to make an impact.

Vlahovic has been a central figure in Juventus’ plans under new coach Thiago Motta, but his inconsistent performances and unique contract situation have led to discussions about his future. The club had hoped to negotiate a contract extension before his current deal expires in June 2026. However, Vlahovic’s high salary of €12 million per season poses challenges for Juventus, who are looking to reduce costs.

With these dynamics at play, Juventus are contemplating a swap deal that could see Kolo Muani join their ranks while allowing Vlahovic to move to PSG. This arrangement could serve multiple purposes: it would alleviate Vlahovic’s financial burden on Juventus while providing PSG with a striker better suited to their tactical needs.

The potential exchange would likely involve a loan agreement for Kolo Muani with an option to buy, allowing Juventus to manage their budget effectively while still pursuing quality talent. Additionally, with Vlahovic’s contract nearing its conclusion, a permanent transfer could generate crucial funds for the club.

As negotiations progress between Turin and Paris, the possibility of expanding these discussions to include other players, such as Milan Skriniar, adds further intrigue to the situation. The relationship between Juventus and PSG is heating up as both clubs seek solutions that align with their respective goals.
