Juventus’ injuries woes show no sign of stopping as Moise Kean is the latest player to be ruled out, but Federico Chiesa is in the squad to face PSG. It’s the first call up for the 25-year-old in nine months as he has slowly worked his way back to fitness after an ACL injury.
Bianconeri coach Max Allegri confirmed yesterday that Chiesa is not match ready yet and it seems unlikely that he’ll feature, but his return to the squad is seen as a big boost at a time when Juve are facing an injury crisis.
No fewer than 10 players are out at present, including Weston McKennie, Angel Di Maria, Gleison Bremer, Dusan Vlahovic and Paul Pogba.
Bremer and Di Maria could possibly return for this weekends match against Inter, along with Vlahovic who is struggling with pubalgia.
The latest setback came earlier today when it was confirmed that striker Moise Kean has an inflammation of scarring to his rectus femoris and would not be in the squad for tonight’s match.
Juventus face PSG in their final Champions League group stage match, knowing that a win would see them drop down into the Europa League.
