Il Corriere dello Sport claim Chelsea have asked Inter to include Nicolo Barella in any potential deal for Romelu Lukaku. The two sides met last week to discuss a number of players, including Andre Onana, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Lukaku.
The Nerazzurri are reportedly keen on finding an agreement that would include the prospect of taking the Belgian striker on loan again for the 2023-24 campaign.
Corriere dello Sport report today that Chelsea would rather send Lukaku to Inter on a permanent basis, and asked the Nerazzurri to include Barella as part of the deal.
Despite the offer, Inter are not prepared to let the 26-year-old leave under any circumstances this summer, having quickly rebuffed advances from Newcastle United earlier this week.
The two sides are expected to continue talks in the hopes of reaching an agreement that suits all parties.
