Multiple reports in Italy and England confirm that Chelsea have agreed terms with Napoli for the transfer of centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. The players agent met with the Blues two days ago and things have moved quickly since, with Chelsea tabling a bid that has been accepted.
The Guardian, Sky Sports and a number of other media outlets report that Chelsea have seen their €40m bid for the 31-year-old accepted.
The player was pictured leaving his hotel in Milan earlier today, reportedly to fly out for his Chelsea medical before joining the club in America for their pre-season tour.
Koulibaly spent eight seasons in Naples, scoring 14 goals in 317 appearances and winning the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
