Champions League | Milan v Club Brugge: Probable starting lineups

Start

AC Milan will host Club Brugge on Tuesday in a crucial Champions League match as the Italian giants aim to secure their first victory in this season’s competition. After a challenging start to their European campaign, Milan find themselves in need of points to climb up the group standings.

The seven-time European champions have endured a difficult opening to their Champions League season. Defeats against Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen have left Milan without a point after two matches, placing them 32nd out of 36 teams in the expanded league table.

Tuesday’s clash against Club Brugge presents Milan with a prime opportunity to get their European campaign back on track. Manager Paulo Fonseca, who has faced pressure due to the team’s inconsistent start, will be eager to guide his side to a much-needed victory.

The Belgian side enter the match with mixed form. After a heavy loss to Borussia Dortmund in their opening fixture, Club Brugge bounced back with a narrow 1-0 win against Sturm Graz. However, their domestic form has been underwhelming, with only five wins from their first 11 league matches.
