Champions League | Juventus 3-0 PSV: Player Ratings

Start

Juventus returned to the Champions League in style, securing a valuable 3-0 win over PSV with goals from Weston McKennie, Nico Gonzalez and Kenan Yildiz.

Juventus

Di Gregorio: Had to deal with a little early pressure from PSV, but was very alert to any threat. Mostly untroubled for large parts of the second half but could do little on the late PSV goal. 6.5/10

Kalulu: Another very solid and encouraging performance from the on-loan Milan defender. Neutralized the PSV threat, very composed on the ball. Could have done better on the PSV goal. Encouraging. 6.5/10

Gatti: Did very well up until he was injured, solid without needing to be spectacular. 6.5/10

Bremer: Seems to improve with each season, another excellent performance from the centre-back. 6.75/10

Cambiaso: Was up against it with Bakoyoko, but seemingly had his measure all night. 6.0/10

McKennie: A surprise inclusion, but an important one. Doubled Juve’s lead and offered some muscle in midfield. Impressive 7.0/10

Locatelli: A very measured performance from the midfielder, who seems to be coming on under Thiago Motta. 6.5/10

Koopmeiners: A better performance from the Dutchman who looked keen to get stuck in in the final third. Just lacked the final touch at times. 6.5/10

Gonzalez: A goal and an assist on his Champions League debut for Juventus – At the heart of Juve’s attack, quick on the break, one of the best on the pitch. 8.0/10

Vlahovic: Didn’t get his goal, but got in the right positions and set-up Juve’s third with a great assist. 6.5/10

Yildiz: Sprinted down the wing in the early exchanges and scored a wonderful solo goal from distance. 7.25/10

Danilo: 5.5/10

Thuram: 5.5/10
