Ex-Roma player Antonio Cassano has once again lashed out at coach Jose Mourinho’s coaching and tactics: “Once he decides to retire, nobody will give a f*ck about him.” The two have been engaged in a war or words with Cassano critisizing the Portuguese tacticians approach to the game, and Mourinho responding that Cassano would only be remembered for the coat he wore to his Real Madrid unveiling.
Speaking on BoboTV (as quoted by RomaPress), Cassano once again took aim at the Giallorossi boss, saying Mourinho would not be remembered when he retires as his football is ‘obscene’:
“I went to Roma and spent there five wonderful years, I made Roma supporters go crazy and have fun, and the people in Rome love me. Go and ask Totti, De Rossi and Bruno Conti.”
“Mourinho can win whatever he wants, but he is making Roma look obscene. He’s won all kinds of trophies but his football has always been atrocious.”
“He must understand that he is a poor coach. He is a snake magician with incompetent people surrounding him. His football is a thing of the past, he was lucky enough to train great champions. I don’t want to win anything, I’ve always played to entertain the fans. When I see his teams play, I am ashamed of being a fan of this sport.”
“Once he decides to retire, nobody will give a f*ck about him.”
