Cassano: ‘Mourinho, my mother taught me not to be afraid of anyone’

Start

Antonio Cassano has continued his spat witch coach Jose Mourinho, telling the Portuguese tactician: ‘My mother taught me, dear Mourinho, not to be afraid of anything or anyone.’ The war of words began when Cassano accused Mourinho of playing a negative and boring style of football, criticizing his approach to the game and insisting that Maurizio Sarri played a better style at Lazio.

Mourinho then replied, intimating that Cassano had won little during his time with Inter, Real Madrid and Roma, saying he would be remembered best for the coat he wore when he first joined the Spanish champions. The Portuguese coach also hinted at a possible altercation between Cassasno and teammate Marko Livaja from when they both played together at Inter, suggesting that the Bari talent may have come out worse for wear.

Cassano has escalated things yet again, replying to the coach via an Instagram video and once again insulting the way he chooses to play the game:

“Someone is writing bullshit about what Mourinho said, that the Livaja of the situation came about and it got tough (for me). In my life, the hard time was from zero to 18 years, because where I lived you had to be smart and clever or you didn’t go on. With this Livaja, we said words to each other about everything, me to him and him to me, after two days, we were friends like before. My mother taught me, dear Mourinho, not to be afraid of anything or anyone.”

“Since someone ratted you out, we had a fight but there were twenty people who got in the way, it never came to a physical confrontation. Tell the bunny who pretends to know that I never took anything, it’s bullshit. Another load of sh**, besides how you make your teams play. But that is a secondary question that we will address later. In my life I have never taken it from anyone, I must have been lucky probably. I say this to you and the sailors, ciao Mourinho.”
