Alexis Mac Allisters’ father and agent Carlos believes Juventus are “a great club, one of the most prestigious in the world.” The comments come as the Bianconeri are being increasingly linked with a move for the Brighton midfielder who recently helped his country to a World Cup win. La Gazzetta dello Sport and others have linked the Argentine with a move to Turin, with reports today suggesting the player is keen on making the switch to Juve.
Speaking with TuttomercatoWEB, CarlosMac Allister offered his thoughts on the recent rumours:
“Juventus are a great club, one of the most prestigious in the world. I can only say that together with the club we will analyse the offers that come to us, then we will decide what will happen in Alexis’ future.
“He is very happy in England and he’s grateful to Brighton because they gave him the chance to reach Europe. We cannot give a price, though, nor do we say who called us. We don’t want to give information that could prejudice upcoming negotiations, if there are any.”
Mac Allister has a contract with Brighton until 2025 and is being linked with a switch to Chelsea along with a number of other sides. The suggestion from the Italian press is that Juventus could sell Weston McKennie in the January transfer window to help fund a move for Mac Allister.
