Turkey captain Hakan Calhanoglu, fresh from the disappointment of being defeated by the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals, says he is committed to Inter. The Dutch side advanced to the semi-finals, where they will face England on July 10th. Despite the loss, there remains a great sense of accomplishment for Vincenzo Montella’s men, who had an excellent European Championship campaign.
Now, Calhanoglu is set to dive back into his adventure with Inter Milan, ready for a new season. The midfielder reaffirmed his desire to continue with the Nerazzurri in an interview with Sportitalia, despite being linked with a potential transfer in the early stages of the transfer market:
“I never thought about leaving,” Calhanoglu stated emphatically. “I’m proud to be a part of the Inter family. I’m an Interista, my heart is Nerazzurro, and we continue on.”
