Premier League side Brighton are the latest club to express an interest in talented Udinese youngster Destiny Udogie. The 19-year-old is considered one of the brightest prospects in European football following his breakout 2021-22 season with the Friulani.
Udinese are reportedly doing their best to hold onto the young talent with club sporting director Pierpaolo Marino recently saying it would be ‘difficult’ to see Udogie leave this summer.
Transfer journalist Nicolo Schira reports that Brighton have expressed an interest in the Italy international who they view as the prefect replacement for Marc Cucurella, who is set to join Chelsea.
Udogie spent last season on loan with Udinese, scoring 5 goals in 37 appearances before making the move permanent this summer.
