Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have set their sights on Juventus’ rising star, Dean Huijsen, with reports suggesting they’re gearing up to make an offer for the talented Dutch defender.
Currently, Huijsen is plying his trade on loan at AS Roma, where he has made quite an impression during his loan spell with the Giallorossi. According to reports from Daniele Longo, while Roma are keen on retaining the player for another season, they are only considering a loan deal. Although this possibility presents challenges, it’s not entirely off the table.
Nevertheless, it appears increasingly likely that Huijsen will bid farewell to Juventus at the conclusion of the season. Dortmund has been monitoring the Dutchman’s progress for several weeks now, fully aware of interest from other clubs eyeing the promising young defender. They aim to act swiftly to outmaneuver competitors and are already formulating an offer.
Juventus, on their part, are seeking a transfer fee in the range of €25 million to €30 million for the 19-year-old, who seems poised to depart the Bianconeri in the upcoming summer transfer window. Whether this move will materialize as a loan deal or a permanent transfer remains to be determined.
