Juventus’ attack is struggling, with Dusan Vlahovic in particular finding it difficult to perform. Former Juventus player Marco Borriello, who played for the club in the 2011-12 season, has commented on the Serbian striker’s current form. The Neapolitan striker, who scored 127 goals in 446 Serie A appearances, shared his thoughts with Tuttosport.

Regarding Vlahovic, Borriello said, “He has issues with pressure, related to his character. Playing for Juventus isn’t easy; they have fans who are used to winning and a great history. You can see that he’s agitated, he implodes, but in the end, he needs to be calmer. I would advise him to do some yoga, it helps a lot. People ask why sometimes he can’t control the ball and other times he scores amazing goals? The answer lies in the calmness with which one plays. He needs to work on his character.”

Borriello also commented on Joshua Zirkzee, another striker linked with Juventus. “He’s a strong forward with his own characteristics. I read that Juventus is interested in Zirkzee. Sure, he’s a different player who might fit better with Thiago Motta’s style of play, but then he’ll only score you nine goals in total.”
