The player has reported for pre-season training but is not part of the squad that is currently playing in a USA pre-season tour, despite his agent insisting that he wants to remain with the club.
Dutch journalist Mike Verweij reports that Bonucci has now been offered a one-year contract with the Dutch giants, but it remains to be seen if he will accept the deal.
