Bologna are looking to bolster their squad ahead of playing in next season’s Serie A, Coppa Italia, and notably, the Champions League, and are looking to Robin Gosens. One of the defensive targets that has drawn the attention of the Emilian club is Brest centre-back Lilian Brassier, who is also attracting interest from other clubs such as Olympique Marseille and Wolfsburg.
Sky Sport Italia detail how in terms of the left-wing position, Bologna have once again expressed interest in a familiar face from Serie A, Robin Gosens.
The German, formerly of Atalanta and Inter, spent the last season with Union Berlin, securing Bundesliga survival on the final match day after competing in the Champions League group stage.
Bologna had previously shown interest in Gosens’ profile back in the summer of 2023, but the German opted for a move to the Bundesliga. It remains to be seen if the circumstances will differ a year later.
During the past season, Gosens amassed a total of thirty-seven appearances across all competitions (Bundesliga, DFB Pokal, and Champions League), contributing seven goals and four assists.
