With Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee closely linked with a move to Milan, Bologna have set their sights on Yuri Alberto, a 22-year-old Brazilian striker currently playing for Corinthians in Brazil.
Sky Sport Italia report how this season, the young striker has found the back of the net 15 times and provided 1 assist in 25 appearances.
Before joining Corinthians, Yuri Alberto spent time with Zenit St. Petersburg, where he won the league title in 2022. He has also represented Brazil at the youth level, winning the U-17 South American Championship in 2017.
Bologna have now identified Yuri Alberto as a potential replacement for Zirkzee, should the Dutch international depart. The Emilian club has made an attempt to retain Zirkzee’s services, offering him a higher salary several days ago. However, no further developments have been reported since then.
