Premier League side Everton look set to sign Udinese striker Beto for a reported €30 million fee, and are just a step away from completing the deal. The transfer has been in the works for the last few weeks, with the Toffee’s initially making a €25 million bid that was rejected by the Bianconeri.
La Gazzetta dello Sport write that a second €30 million offer is likely to be accepted by Udinese chairman Gino Pozzo, leaving the deal at the closing stages of completion.
The deal would deprive Udinese of their most reliable striker, meaning they are almost certain to return to the market, with some reports in Italy linking them with Juve youngster Kaio Jorge.
Beto joined Udinese in 2021 and went on to score 22 goals in 64 appearances for the Friulani.
