Fiorentina have reportedly agreed the sale of striker Arthur Cabral to Portuguese side Benfica for €25 million. The transfer is expected to be completed shortly, and will include €25 million up-front and up to €5 million in bonuses. Cabral’s sale is expected to release funds for La Viola to then sign forwards Lucas Beltran and M’Bala Nzola.
Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano all report that a deal is very close to being announced, with personal terms having already been agreed between Cabral and Benfica.
The Brazilian striker is expected in Portugal later this week to complete his club medical before the move is confirmed.
The 25-year-old joined Fiorentina in 2021 but had a disappointing start to his career. His second season saw him score 17 goals in all competitions helping guide the club to the Final of both the Coppa Italia and the Europa Conference League.
