Bayern Munich linked with Dusan Vlahovic

Start

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are being closely linked with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer. The Serbian international has had a mixed season in Turin, spending the first part of 2022-23 on the side-lines through injury, before being dropped to the bench in favour of Arek Milik.

Sport journalist Kerry Hau reports that Vlahović, who former Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić didn’t want, is now a serious candidate for the club, alongside Kolo Muani.

This follows news from Sky Sport Germany who also confirm that Bayern want Vlahovic, given that coach Thomas Tuchel has ‘raved’ about the striker. The report also outlines how Juve and the German champions still have close relations, having concluded a number of deals over the years.

Fabrizio Romano also writes about Bayern’s interest, saying Vlahovic is on their list, but they may face competition from Peemier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United.
