Bayern Munich are edging ever closer to an agreement with Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae, with a deal expected to be confirmed very soon. The Korean international was previously linked with a switch to Manchester United, but Bundesliga champions Bayern are now in pole position to sign the defender.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern are getting closer to reaching an agreement on personal terms with the Napoli centre-back. The 26-year-old will reportedly pen a contract with the Bavarians until 2028, with Bayern set to pay his release clause in full, with reports detailing it at between €45-55m.
Romano’s latest update suggests that a deal is very close and it’s only a matter of time before it’s announced.
Kim joined the Partenopei for €18m last summer, winning the Scudetto in his debut Serie A season, scoring two goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
