Italian striker Mario Balotelli escaped unharmed after being involved in a car crash in his home city of Brescia. The former Milan and Inter forward had returned to Italy to recover, after picking up an injury while playing for Turkish side Adana Demirspor.
Fatto Quotidiano report that Balotelli was at the wheel of his €100,000 Audi Q8 and reportedly lost control before crashing into a wall.
The 33-year-old was treated by paramedics but has escaped serious injury, while the newspaper also suggests Balotelli refused a breathalyser at the scene.
As a result, police confiscated the strikers driving license, while his brother Enock Barwuah visited the scene of crash, after returning from training with his local team, and took him home.
