New Roma signing Tommaso Baldanzi shared his initial thoughts at having joined the Giallorossi: “It’s a beautiful thing and it is an immense satisfaction.” The 20-year-old midfielder made the switch from Empoli to the capital on deadline day, and speaking with RomaTV, he explained why he chose to make the switch to Roma:
“There is certainly a lot of emotion, it is a beautiful thing and it is an immense satisfaction to play for a historic club like Roma. I am very happy and I hope to do well with my teammates and our fans,” he said.
“I was very pleased with Roma’s interest and so I immediately came here. I’m very happy with this decision.”
“I would like to thank the Friedkins because they believed in me and wanted me strongly. I would like to thank Tiago Pinto and the coach, who wanted me, the whole club. I am very honored to be here, I owe a lot to them.”
“The team made a great impression on me. So I’m happy to be here, I hope to get into the team mechanisms quickly but I think it’s not a problem. I cannot wait to start.”
“De Rossi? I spoke to the coach and he told me that I would be part of a really good group of players made up of good people and I’m sure of it. Then we’ll talk about the technical things in these next few days.”
“Dybala? I will have a lot to see and learn from someone like him. He is a great player. I’m happy to be here and that he’s here too, I can improve a lot with him next to me.”
