Tiémoué Bakayoko is expected to return to Chelsea this summer after a disappointing season on loan with Milan. The 27-year-old joined the Rossoneri on loan for a second spell but has failed to settle, making just a handful of appearances.
Journalist Antonio Vitiello confirmed that the players agents have been in Milan to assess his future beyond the end of the season, with the Frenchman expected to return to parent club Chelsea.
Goal Italia’s Chelsea correspondent Nizaar Kinsella also writes that Bakayoko is likely to end up back in London as Milan haven’t played him since January, thus removing themselves from the obligation of having to sign him.
