Calciomercato.com and a number of other transfer news sites suggest Atletico Madrid are being linked with a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. It’s been a torrid year for the Serbian striker, who has had a recurrence of pubalgia and a host of other niggly injuries.
Calciomercato report that Juve are looking to reinforce their midfield, and Atleti’s Rodrigo De Paul remains one of their main targets. The suggestion is Los Colchoneros are looking for a striker and have a long-standing interest in Vlahovic, which could help facilitate a deal.
Juventus had tried to sell the Serbian international last summer, but failed to find any clubs prepared to stump up the €70 million price tag.
Calciomercato suggest Juve could agree some kind of formula with Atletico which would benefit all parties involved, potentially seeing the Spanish side using players as a makeweight in a possible deal.
