Sportitalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports that Atalanta would want at least €60 million for young defender Giorgio Scalvini. The 20-year-old is viewed as one La Dea’s brightest prospects and has already made his debut for the Azzurri, attracting attention from around Europe following a string of fine performances.
Reports from Italy have suggested that Premier League side Manchester United have been closely following the young talent and are very interested in signing him.
According to Pedulla, the Atalanta management have slapped a €60 million price-tag on Scalvini and are under no pressure to part with the youngster.
La Dea are keen to hold onto the young defender, who has a contract until 2028, but may be tempted to sell, if a large enough offer were to be presented.
