Atalanta have entered the race alongside Fiorentina to sign Frosinone starlet Marco Brescianini this summer. The 24-year-old midfielder looks unlikely to remain with the Canarini following their relegation to Serie B, and is likely to be sold in order to bolster Frosinone’s coffers.

While Fiorentina had initiated talks with Frosinone in recent weeks, a gap remained between the club’s valuation and the offers on the table. Now, Atalanta are set to enter the fray, potentially complicating the negotiations for Brescianini’s transfer.
