Atalanta took the lead through Ademola Lookman but two quick-fire goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Lewis Ferguson saw Bologna secure a huge three points in the race for the top four.
Atalanta
Carnesecchi: Exceptional stop to deny Calafiori from a corner but could do little on the penalty. 6.0/10.
Scalvini: Seemed to have a little more freedom on the ball as he moved in and out of the defence. Replaced in the second half as Gasperini went all out attack. 5.5/10.
Djimsiti: Arguably the best of the Atalanta back-line throughout the match. 6.0/10.
Kolasinac: Got out of the back when he could and tried to contribute to the attack. 5.5/10.
Zappacosta: Put in a great cross that Lookman should have done better with. Played a part in the opener by forcing a good save from Skorupski, that Lookman finished easily. 6.5/10.
Pasalic: Little of note in the first half and was subbed early in the second half. 5.5/10.
De Roon: A reliable presence in the heart of the Atalanta midfield. 6.0/10.
Ruggeri: Excellent work down the flank, creating chances throughout the match. 6.5/10.
Koopmeiners: Tried to fix a wayward pass with a reckless challenge early on, earning a booking before the 15 minute mark. Made a poor tackle in the box that gave away the equalising penalty. 4.5/10.
Lookman: Drifted all over the attacking third, smart movement on and off the ball. Forced a great save from Skorupski early on and was in the right place to score the opener. 7.0/10.
De Ketelaere: Huge early chance for the Belgian but he blasted his effort over the bar. Fairly anonymous thereafter and replaced by Scamacca. 6.0/10.

Ederson: Didn’t do much before picking up a booking in the second half. 5.0/10.
Holm: Barely on the pitch five minutes before picking up needless yellow card.. 5.0/10.
Scamacca: 5.5/10.

Ferguson: A quiet first half before he sparked into life on the 60 minute mark to score Bologna’s second. Constantly tested the Atalanta goal from range. 7.5/10.
Orsolini: Relatively quiet for a big part of the first half before being subbed off in the second half. 5.5/10.
