Inter Milan’s midfielder Kristjan Asllani shared his thoughts with Inter TV (via FCInterNews) following the team’s impressive win against Atalanta. The young Albanian expressed his satisfaction with the result and the team’s performance.
“It gives us great satisfaction. Playing against Atalanta and winning like this isn’t easy,” Asllani stated. “We did well to confirm our form and win again today. We need to keep going like this.”
Asllani emphasized the importance of squad depth and readiness: “Those who play less must be ready when their turn comes, which it surely will, as there are many games. We’re a well-managed group, we get along well with each other, and that’s the most important thing.”
Reflecting on the match, he added, “We did well to score two goals after just a few minutes, then we had to manage the game, and we did that well. It’s not easy against them; they play intense man-to-man football. It was a great victory.”
When asked about the importance of competition within the squad, Asllani highlighted the value of making the most of every opportunity: “We all want to play, but when we’re given minutes, I think we need to make the most of them, whether it’s three, eight, or half an hour.”
The midfielder also took a moment to express his gratitude towards his teammate Hakan Calhanoglu: “I have a great champion in front of me like Hakan. I always thank him because he’s fundamental for my growth. We need to be good at learning from these great champions and raising our level in every training session.”
