Austrian striker Marko Arnautovic reaffirmed his commitment to remain with Inter for the upcoming season, despite links with a move to Monza. The veteran striker played a key role for the Nerazzurri last season, albeit from the bench, and reports from Italy suggested he could be on his way out this suumer.
Arnautovic’s return to Inter last season has been a mixed bag. Plagued by some muscle injuries, the forward finished the season with 7 goals and 3 assists. Despite the doubts about his future, Arnautovic was emphatic about his future when speaking in an interview with 90minuten:
“I think the season went well. I was a bit unlucky with injuries. When I played, I delivered my performance. Now everything is fine again. Future? I’ve said it so many times. I have another year on my contract, and I will definitely stay until then. After that, we’ll see….”
