Milan have reached an agreement with Besiktas for the transfer of Croatian forward Ante Rebic, with the player flying out to Istanbul for his medical later today. Rebic has played a bit-part in recent seasons, having failed to impress coach Stefano Pioli, despite having an encouraging start to his time in Milan.
The 29-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Turkish Super Lig side on a contract, while the Rossoneri are expected to earn around €2 million in total for the transfer: €500,000 as a fixed fee with €1.5m in performance-related add-ons.
TMW report that Rebic is expected to depart Milan later today, bound for for Istanbul where he’ll undergo a club medical with Besiktas before signing a two-year contract.
The Croatian winger spent four seasons with the Rossoneri, scoring 29 goals in 123 club appearances across all competitions.
