Max Allegri lost his cool when speaking with reporters after Juve’s 1-1 draw with Nantes in the Europa League ‘I don’t want to hear this sh*t anymore!’. The Bianconeri started the tie in strong form, taking the lead in the first half before collapsing in the second and conceding an equaliser due to a mistake from defender Bremer. There was controversy at the end of the game when there appeared to be a clear handball from a Nantes player but the referee reviewed the decision and decided not to award a penalty.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after the game, Allegri was left to rue Juve’s missed chances and dismissed the idea that his teams only ever win 1-0:
“The missed penalty? I saw it now, useless to talk about it. We picked up a 1-1, we played too much in slow motion and we need to improve on this.
“After the goal we conceded we lit up creating chances, but in this match we needed to score more goals” Chiesa’s knock? I think it’s nothing, I don’t know if it was a clash, but he played well.
“Where could more be done? When we had to play we did well, on other things we needed to do better. We must be confident for the return leg, however it will be difficult. Regarding ball management, it’s important to move the ball, to move quickly. Instead we were a bit slow in some parts of the match.
“Do I always want a ‘1-0 Juve’? I don’t want to hear this sh*t anymore. We need to improve on many things but I don’t want us to win 1-0, that’s not true. My teams have always scored between 70 and 80 goals, this is the truth.”
