Juventus coach Max Allegri insists that he is happy with Dusan Vlahovic, but the club will evaluate important offers. The Bianconeri boss was speaking after the club played their youth team, a training match that the senior team won 8-0. Asked about Vlahovic’s future by Sky Sport Italia, Allegri confirmed that for now, the Serbian striker was a Juve player, while also touching on the encouraging performance from his squad:
“Dusan is working well, he had moments of physical difficulties but he has recovered. I’m happy for him and also for Kaio, he’s been struggling for two years and it’s a pleasure to see him play football again, he has the moves of the great player. I hope he can overcome the injury, he has a chance to have a great career.”
“I am happy with the roster we have available, there is an important attacking department. As I have said before and as Giuntoli said, Vlahovic is the center forward of Juventus but in the face of important economic offers the club will evaluate, the club aims to become sustainable. However, I won’t say too much about it, I make technical evaluations and I am very happy with Vlahovic.”
“Talking about the scudetto now makes no sense, let’s talk about working and growing. Not playing in Europe I don’t know if it is an advantage or a disadvantage, certainly doing it is better. Let’s take it as an opportunity to work during the week, Juventus last year finished third in the league and the club has worked well to clean everything up and the goal is to get back to playing Champions League next year.”
