Alexis Sánchez might be on the verge of a sensational return to Udinese, the club where he first made his mark in Italian football. The Chilean forward, currently in his second stint with Inter Milan, could be welcomed back to Udinese after 13 years.
Sky Sport Italia report that Sánchez’s return to Udinese would be a significant move for the club. The 35-year-old forward, who first joined Udinese in 2008, played a pivotal role during his time there before moving on to some of Europe’s top clubs. His career trajectory saw him don the jerseys of Barcelona, Arsenal, and Manchester United before his initial move to Inter Milan in 2019.
In the season just finished, Sánchez made 33 appearances for Inter Milan, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists. His experience and skill set could be invaluable for Udinese, should he decide to lower his wage demands and make the move.
